OB/GYN HOSPITALIST ATTENDING — NYU Langone Hospital–Long Island | Mineola, NY

NYU Langone Hospital–Long Island, a top-tier academic medical center and Clinical Campus for NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine, is seeking a BC Ob/Gyn Hospitalist Attending to join a dynamic, high-volume department.

The Opportunity Join a tertiary (Level III) center performing 4,700+ deliveries and 3,000+ gynecologic surgeries annually, with a fully accredited Ob/Gyn residency, MFM Fellowship, and dedicated Ob/Gyn Hospitalist Fellowship. Our 16-suite Labor & Delivery unit features three dedicated ORs and a Level III NICU.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead comprehensive L&D coverage, postpartum care, and obstetric and gynecological emergency management
• Collaborate with MFM, anesthesia, neonatology, and nursing teams to optimize maternal-neonatal outcomes
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows at the bedside and in formal settings
• Contribute to QI initiatives, simulation training, and departmental research

Scheduling:

• Flexible 12- or 24-hour shifts (~6/24hrs per month or equivalent)
• Balanced across day and night coverage

Qualifications (minimum):

• Board-certified graduate of an accredited 4-year Ob/Gyn residency
• Valid NYS license or permit
• 3+ years post-residency L&D experience

Compensation:

• $335,000-$375,000 salary for full-time; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community needs, and other factors
