Childbirth Educator- On-Call, Variable Schedule

This position travels and supports Providence St. Vincent's Medical Center and Providence Portland Medical Center

Under the direction of the Providence Health Learning Institute, develops curriculum content requirements and instructs on various parenting topics and childbirth education topics. Assures the use of appropriate educational technology and adult learning methodology to increase knowledge, skills, and competencies.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years Related experience in the health care field and/or education experience with groups and individuals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Courses related to the health sciences field or early childhood education.



• Upon hire: ICEA or ASPO Lamaze certification for childbirth education

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
