Security Specialist - Industrial (Mid)
INDUSTRIAL SECURITY OFFICERContribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Security Officer at GDIT. Here, youll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in Security Operations.MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAs a Security Officer, the work youll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of a critical government customer. You will play a crucial role in providing industrial security oversight.Ensure security requirements and other security documentation (such as DD Forms 254s) in support of classified contracts are appropriately identified and implemented in accordance with organizational requirements.Assist with ensuring CPI, MCC, and MCF, are protected at industry locations.WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEEDBring your Industrial Security expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Security Officer must have: Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Experience: 3+ years of related experience, OR an associates degree and 4 additional years of experience (7 total), OR 9 total years of relevant experience. Technical skills (REQUIRED): Expert at Ship and Site Activation with ICD 705 knowledge. Knowledge of DODM 5205.07 required. Security clearance level: Top Secret/SAP experienced desired US citizenship required Role requirements: willingness to work on site 5 days per week and travel up to 10-25% of the time.Industrial Security Oversight Certification (CDSE) within one year of hire.GDIT IS YOUR PLACEAt GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.
